This coming Thursday, 7th November 2024, the UTSA International Students Association observed Mental Health Day.

Venue: McKinney Humanities Building,
3.04.22 Academic Classroom.

Mental health is an emotional, psychological, and social well-being, which influences how individuals think, feel, and act. It plays a vital role in how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.

Good mental health contributes to resilience, emotional stability, and positive social interactions, while challenges can lead to conditions like anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

Various factors, including biological aspects (such as genetics or brain chemistry), life experiences (trauma or abuse), and family history of mental health issues, can influence mental health. Recognizing and addressing mental health early is key, as it often affects physical health and quality of life. Practices like regular exercise, adequate sleep, mindfulness, strong social connections, and professional support are crucial to maintain mental wellness.

Join us at McKinney Humanities Building 3.04.22 for a mental awareness lecture on how to recognize, manage, and navigate mental health.

Knowing how to manage our Mental Health ensures Healthy and Longer life.
