Concho Valley Mahjong Hi, I’m Kayla! I live in the Concho Valley, where Mahjong has brought our town together in the best way! As a former teacher, I love helping others learn.

Today’s lesson was a HOOT!! 🤣

There may or may not have been eyebrows being waxed with the highlighter strips and maybe even a bit of name calling… all in good fun, of course!! In the end there were many Mahjong’s!!

Solo Mahjer- for the Miniest of Mahjers

🎉 Now even your Pre-K kids can play Mahjong on their own.
🥳 Thanks to the Miniest Mahjer Strips

✅ Start by drawing 7 tiles

✅ Pick your Mini Mahjer strip ( This your hand). Pick the strip based on the tiles you already have.

😉However, if pick a strip or hard just because you like it, that’s ok too!!

✅ If you have any matches, place them on your strip.

✅ Draw and discard placing matches on the strip until you Mahjong!

🤩That’s it! So much fun!! 🎉🎉🎉

🥳 Your kids will love it!! 🥳

Your kid just walked in and said, “I’m bored.”😑
Mini Mahjer to the rescue- solo style! No group? ⁉️ No problem? Your child can play a full game completely on their own.
I call it Solo Mahjer — and it works at any level, beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
Here’s how it works:
✅ Start by drawing your tiles — based on the version you are playing
✅Set face down your Charleston piles — three tiles each pass, plus three more if you want the optional.
✅Work through your Charleston, then discard to start your game.
✅Draw and discard, draw and discard — until you Mahjong!
Want to make it a challenge? Count your discards and try to Mahjong in 25 draws or less.
Spread the tiles out for Messy Mahjer or keep them in the bag — the world is their oyster. And yours just got a little quieter. 😉
