SPARK 2026 Career Exhibit recap ๐ก๐
We were honored to be invited to Concho Valley SPARK this week, and it was a huge success. ASU STEM Outreach and the Mobile STEM Lab welcomed over 800 student visits at our station, with nonstop curiosity and hands-on exploration all day. ๐โจ
SHOUT OUT TO JAMES OBERMILLER, BRADEN GUTIERREZ, AND TONY GARCIA. YOU GUYS ALL AWESOME!!! ๐
What is Concho Valley SPARK?
SPARK stands for Strengthening Professional Abilities and Real-World Knowledge. Itโs an annual event designed to bridge the gap between education and the workforce by giving high school students interactive career exploration with employers and community partners across the 14 TEA career clusters.
What makes SPARK different from a job fair
A job fair is about hiring. SPARK is about inspiring. Organizations are not recruiting. They are showcasing real world tools, experiences, and possibilities so students can discover new interests and start imagining their future.
What we ran
โข VR demos and immersive experiences ๐ฅฝ
โข iPads with the Inspirit app ๐ฑ
โข a fast paced, high traffic environment where students could jump in, explore, and ask questions
Thank you to the SPARK organizers, partners, and every student who stopped by our space. We loved being part of an event that invests in Texasโ future workforce and helps students make informed decisions about what comes next after high school. ๐
