š©· So weāve been keeping a little (not so little though) secret recentlyš«£. While I canāt exactly hide him from those that have been at the barn I havenāt said too much just because I wanted to let him get settled in and make sure he was a good fit. So far he has checked all my boxes. š¤
So while I donāt have a name picked out for him, here is our new member of our crew! While Iām not sure what his future will look like Iām very proud to say that Iāve grown to like this guy a lot.š„°
Youāll be seeing a lot more of him soon! As of right now drop some suggestions, as I have no clue what to name him. My top choice right now is Moose 𤣠š«

š My heart is absolutely breaking for all the competitors going through this. This is so disgusting to see how jealousy and poor sportsmanship went this far. To not only attack a helpless animal that we all love, but to attempt to take someone lifeline and family member from them.
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in this. This is something no one should ever have to experience let alone be considered about. Prayers and safety to everyone there right now as well. š š

With all this rain that we have gotten, I thought Iād take a moment to explain why itās very important to try to take care of your horses feet right now.
Thrush is one of the biggest issues youāre going to try to fight against. āThrushā is a very common hoof issue in horses, especially during long periods of rain and muddy conditions. Thrush is a bacterial (sometimes fungal) infection that develops in the frog of the hoof ā usually in the deep grooves beside or behind the frog where moisture, mud, manure, and bacteria get trapped. It often has a strong foul smell and can look black, soft, or mushy.
If left untreated, thrush can become painful and start eating away at healthy hoof tissue. Horses may become sore, tender when picking feet, or even lame in severe cases. Deep infections can make it harder for the hoof to stay healthy and balanced over time.
This is why picking out your horseās feet is SO important during rainy weather. Constant mud and moisture soften the hoof and create the perfect environment for bacteria to grow. Cleaning feet daily helps remove packed mud, manure, and rocks while also giving you a chance to catch problems early before they become serious.
A few simple things can make a huge difference:
š©· Pick feet daily (sometimes twice a day in wet weather)
š©· Keep stalls and pens as dry as possible
š©· Give horses access to dry ground when you can
š©· Watch for bad smells, black discharge, or sensitivity
š©· Use hoof treatments if you notice early signs of thrush
Healthy feet are the foundation of a healthy horse ā especially during constant rainy weather! š“š

If you donāt know about this horse, I highlyyyy suggest learning about him. He truly was a legend!!
I have followed Endo the Blind for quite a while now. This horse is absolutely incredible if you don't know who he is. The bond between him and his owner is unexplainable and I absolutely LOVE and have loved watching this team. ā„ļø
However, the magnificent blind warrior is in a battle right now. Endo is dealing with edema, and he needs every ounce of strength, healing, and prayer we can send his way. Pray for the swelling to go down.
Pray for his levels to rise. Pray for his body to respond. Pray for wisdom over his vets.
This horse may not have sight⦠but he has more heart than most.
Letās surround Endo with faith, power, good thoughts, good vibes, and relentless belief in healing.
Lord,
You created Endo perfectly, strong, brave, and full of light. Right now as he battles edema and low protein levels, we ask for healing over his body. Reduce the swelling. Restore his strength. Rebuild what is depleted.
Give wisdom to his vets and peace to the hearts that love him.
Cover this magnificent boy in protection and let his body respond with steady, undeniable healing.
Amen. š¤
