Fostering the Art of Embroidery and Needlework EGA was established in New York in 1958 as a branch of The Embroiderers' Guild of London (established 1906).
The Embroiderers' Guild of America (EGA) was formed for the express purpose of fostering the art of needlework and associated arts.
