My mixed Kindergarten speech and language group of 5 students are working on many goals. So this one activity of sorting CVC magnets targeted FCD, phonemic awareness, categories, describing, object function, increasing MLU, etc. they were all so engaged and loved the activity. I put the magnets into a sensory box to add another layer of engagement.

Halloween is such a fun holiday for speech and language therapy. Rich language and engagement from students make me smile! Today we read “There was an Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.” All were engaged and actively participating. You can check out this book companion in my TPT Store.
