Diocesan Cultural Relationships Survey. The Diocese of San Angelo is partnering with the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., to evaluate and understand member relationships to their parish, clergy, and other parishioners. The survey focuses on the role of race and ethnicity in relation to members’ experiences within the Church and in their everyday lives. In particular, Black and African Catholics are asked to respond; however, all are welcome to participate. Results of the survey will be shared at an Afternoon of Reflection on November 7 during National Black Catholic History Month. The survey is 100% confidential. Responses will be reported in summary form only. The survey will be available from July 27 to August 28. For more information, visit https://sanangelodiocese.org/survey.

The Traditional Latin Mass according to the Missale Romanum of 1962, in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, is coming to Midland the last Sunday of each month. See more below!

Beginning Sunday, August 30, St. Ann’s Catholic Church will become the home of the Diocese of San Angelo’s monthly Traditional Latin Mass celebrated according to the 1962 Missal.

This Mass will be offered on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in Holy Family Chapel here at St. Ann’s.

For many of the faithful, this liturgy is a cherished expression of the Church’s rich tradition—one that has been prayed by generations of Catholics throughout history. For others, it may be their first opportunity to experience it.

Whether you have attended the Traditional Latin Mass for years or have simply been curious about it, this is a unique opportunity within our diocese to encounter this beautiful form of the Roman Rite.
