our week with a beautiful theme that celebrates something very special: our feelings and our voices! 🤣😭🥺🙄We spoke about different emotions, helped them learn to recognize and express how they feel, and discover that every feeling matters and every voice deserves to be heard. They explored this theme throughout the week using role-play, songs, stories and hands-on fun activities. Activities included making different faces on our emotion wheel, pairing emotion cards and mimicking the face in a mirror, painting and drawing their own emotion wheel, and their favorite was using colorful pasta to make their favorite faces.

Colors and shapes: Our classrooms came alive with colors and our little learners became shape detectives this week. One of their favorite activities of all time- color mixing made their curious little faces light up with excitement. Our practical activities, such as sorting, matching, puzzles, threading were all done using marbles, stones, buttons based on all the colors.
From circles and squares to triangles, rectangles, and 3D shapes, the children practiced recognizing, naming, sorting, and matching shapes through hands-on activities. They also went on a shape hunt around the classroom, looking for familiar shapes in everyday objects.

Rising Minds Curriculum Night: A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing families for joining us for Curriculum Night and making it such a special success. Your presence, enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and genuine interest in your child's learning made the evening truly meaningful. It was wonderful to share a glimpse into our classroom, our curriculum, and the many ways we support each child as they learn and grow. We look forward to a wonderful year filled with lots of joyful memories together.

The biggest highlight was a very special Father’s Day celebration—our children sang songs, played games, and shared beautiful moments with their dads. The classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and love. A big thank you to all the wonderful fathers who joined and made the day so unforgettable! 💙

Princess & Knights Dress-Up Ramp Walk. The children confidently walked the ramp in their beautiful princess gowns and brave knight costumes, proudly showcasing their outfits with big smiles. It was a delightful experience that helped build their confidence and created many joyful memories.

Our little learners became Young Environmentalists 🌱🌎 and explored the wonderful world of nature. They learnt the importance of nature and how elements like water, trees, and land support us and all living things. The children learned that trees provide fresh air, water is precious and should be saved, and we all have a responsibility to protect and care for our beautiful planet. During recess time, the children enthusiastically explored the beauty of nature using magnifying lenses 🔍, observing tiny details around them and developing a deeper appreciation for the natural world. 🌎 The children explored the beauty of nature through creative art. They made beautiful greeting cards using flowers and leaves, extracted natural colors from them, and created lovely nature suncatchers using paper plates and natural materials. These hands-on activities encouraged creativity, sensory exploration, and helped children develop a deeper connection and appreciation for the beauty of nature.
