Why is it so hard to go for your dream lifestyle and begin working for yourself when you're barely making ends meet working for someone else?
I'll never forget just how frustrated I was when I was longing to travel, but my job and my finances made that an impossibility. I loved working in a gym as a personal trainer, but I only got paid when I worked with clients, so taking time off was never a good idea. I knew I wanted (needed) to find a way to earn a second income, but my schedule wouldn't allow for another job with scheduled shifts. I was stressed, and that lead to sleepless nights which left me exhausted ... It was rough for a while there. And then the pandemic hit.
I started my own online fitness/life coaching business which I love, but it takes time to grow a new business, and money was tighter than ever. I needed a way to earn a second income, but I was uncomfortable recommending products that I couldn't use (I have way too many allergies), so I thought I would have to close my company and go back to working at someone else's gym. I would have had to give up on traveling the country in my RV and begin the whole process of getting clients all over again - and have almost no income while I did that.
Fortunately, a former colleague reached out to me with an opportunity to join a company that would allow me to earn extra money and still be able to travel, all without having to promote or sell any products. It was just what I had been looking for, and the future is looking bright!
