TEAMSTERS HAVE A VOICE
A caucus of rank and file Teamsters does not need to wait for permission to talk to one another, organize one another, educate one another, or advocate for what we believe will strengthen our union.
We are Teamsters. We pay dues. We work under Teamster contracts. We represent our brothers and sisters, organize workers, educate stewards, and fight for stronger membership.
We are not claiming to speak for any Local that has not endorsed us. We are speaking for ourselves as Teamster members.
The Conservative Caucus will respect the IBT Constitution and the rights of our fellow Teamsters.
But we will also exercise our own rights.
If conservative Teamsters want to organize conservative Teamsters and bring more working people into this union, we’re going to do it.
With the support of our Local when we have it.
Independently when we don’t.
We are Teamsters, and we’re doing the work.

Hey guys, since a few of you showed some interest in having these rings made, I looked into it. If I can get a minimum of 10 people, we can have them made.
I know the regular guys who will probably jump right on this, but again, we’re only going to have a limited number made for the Local.
If you want one, let me know. I’ll send you the price. We just need to get to 10.

Rooted in our conservative values of personal responsibility, family, and community service, the Conservative Caucus of Teamsters 222 is proud to launch our Gift of Music initiative.
We want to place musical instruments into the hands of immigrant children and children from families who simply cannot afford them, opening doors to education, discipline, creativity, and opportunity.
We invite our Teamster brothers and sisters, local businesses, music stores, musicians, and members of our community to step up with us. Donate an instrument you can part with, whether new or used, or contribute to help us repair instruments and get them into the hands of kids who need them.
Let’s strengthen families and our community, one instrument at a time.
Message us on Facebook to donate or partner with us. Every gift moves a child closer to music.

Today was the beginning of something special. 🎻
I had the privilege of donating a professional quality, multi thousand dollar violin to my friend Althea, who was born in the Philippines and is now the Orchestra President at Roy High School here in Utah.
But this is about more than one violin.
We are working toward beginning a charitable program that will put quality musical instruments into the hands of children of immigrant families and other young people whose families simply cannot afford them.
Talent shouldn’t depend on how much money your parents make.
A young musician who has the dedication to practice, learn and perform deserves the opportunity to see how far that talent can take them.
This is another way we can take the values of Teamsters Local 222 beyond the workplace and into our communities.
We’ve worked to help animals in our community. We’ve brought Teamsters together to donate blood. Now we’re looking at another opportunity to serve, by helping young people pursue music, education and their future.
One instrument might not change the world.
But for the kid who receives it, it might change their world.
Congratulations, Althea. Take care of that violin, play the hell out of it, and make us proud. 🎻
Teamsters helping our communities, one family at a time.

Fools will be fools. We have brothers and sisters that are depending on us to persevere. The decisions we make today will affect our children and future Teamsters. Protect the past. Prepare for the future. Teamsters first. Teamsters always!

LOOKING FOR A BETTER JOB? LOOK TEAMSTER.
One of the best ways we can strengthen the Teamsters is pretty simple: help working people find good union jobs.
There are Teamster employers hiring throughout our region right now, including opportunities in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Arizona and New Mexico.
Here are some of the Teamster employers and opportunities worth checking:
UTAH
• ABF Freight, CDL A Linehaul Driver, Salt Lake City
• ABF Freight, CDL A Local Driver / Forklift Operator, West Valley City
• US Foods, CDL A Delivery Driver, Ogden, currently advertised at $32.70 to $35.70 an hour
• Dairy Farmers of America, CDL A Tank Driver, Salt Lake City
AROUND THE WEST
Teamster represented employers with employment opportunities include companies such as:
• ABF Freight
• UPS
• TForce Freight
• US Foods
• Sysco
• Dairy Farmers of America
• Albertsons
• Republic Services
• Aramark
• Alsco
• Univar
• and many more.
And Teamster jobs aren’t limited to driving. Teamsters represent drivers, warehouse workers, dockworkers, mechanics, public employees, food service workers, sanitation workers and many other classifications.
Why look for a Teamster job?
Better wages.
Strong health benefits.
Contract protections.
Paid vacations and holidays.
Seniority rights.
Retirement benefits under many Teamster contracts.
And most importantly, a legally enforceable union contract and a voice on the job.
A good union doesn’t just represent the members it already has.
It helps the next worker become a Teamster.
If you’re looking for work, or you know somebody who is, check the official International Brotherhood of Teamsters Career Center and Freight Job Board for opportunities.
Share this with somebody who needs a better job.
Protecting workers. Building futures.

Jesus flipped tables when what was sacred was being corrupted.
Some things are worth standing up for.
Your family is worth protecting.
Your faith is worth defending.
Your dignity is worth defending.
Your brothers and sisters are worth standing beside.
And the integrity of our Union is worth fighting for.
Standing up does not mean losing control. It means having the courage to speak when something is wrong, to defend what matters, and to refuse to quietly accept corruption or wrongdoing.
Jesus didn’t look the other way when he saw what was happening in the Temple.
Neither should we.
Protect what matters. Stand for what is right.
“My house shall be called the house of prayer.”

“I WILL BE WITH HIM IN TROUBLE.”
PSALM 91:15
There might not be a better lesson for what brotherhood and solidarity are supposed to mean.
Psalm 91 speaks about courage, protection, trust, and standing firm when trouble comes.
As Teamsters, we won’t always agree. We come from different backgrounds, different beliefs, and different points of view.
But when a brother or sister is in trouble, that’s when solidarity matters most.
When a member has a grievance, stand with them.
When a member is facing discipline, make sure they aren’t facing it alone.
When someone is struggling, don’t ask which caucus they belong to or whether they agree with you.
Stand beside them.
Being a Teamster doesn’t mean agreeing about everything.
It means understanding that when the time comes to stand together, we stand together.
Don’t represent people out of fear.
Don’t abandon someone because they’re unpopular.
Know the contract. Know your rights. Speak the truth. Stand firm.
And remember the simple promise found in Psalm 91:
“I will be with him in trouble.”
That’s faith.
That’s brotherhood.
That’s solidarity.
