Part 3 of Go Learn’s *Yorkshire: On Location with PBS* brings us into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, and yes, it was every bit as charming as it sounds. 🇬🇧🌿✨
Day 7 was all things bright, beautiful, and *All Creatures Great and Small*. 🐾 The group spent the day exploring some of the most iconic filming locations from the beloved PBS series, traveling through postcard-perfect villages, rolling fields, dry-stone walls, and scenic routes across the Dales. Stops included places like Malham Cove, Barden Bridge at Bolton Abbey, Arncliffe, and Yockenthwaite, also known as Helen’s Farm. The day also included a visit to Wensleydale Creamery, where travelers could sample the famous cheese loved by Wallace and Gromit. 🧀
Day 8 continued the Dales magic with a visit to Skipton, a charming market town full of history and character, before heading to Grassington, the main filming location for *All Creatures Great and Small*. Travelers had time to wander the village, take in the surrounding landscapes, and enjoy another cozy day of Yorkshire scenery before returning by way of Pateley Bridge. 🚶♀️🏡🌄
On Day 9, the group said “ta’ra” to Yorkshire and made their way back to London for one final day of exploring. After checking back in, travelers had the afternoon free to revisit favorite spots, explore museums, stroll through gardens, shop, wander the South Bank, or squeeze in one last London adventure before gathering for a farewell dinner. 🚆🎭🍽️
Day 10 brought a fond farewell, with travelers heading home with new memories, new friendships, and a new love for the Yorkshire countryside, its rich history, and its connection to so many favorite Masterpiece shows.
From the Dales to London and every beautiful stop in between, this journey was full of storybook views, screen-worthy moments, and the kind of travel memories that stay with you long after you return home. 🇬🇧☕✨

Part 2 of Go Learn’s Yorkshire: On Location with PBS is here, and the journey only got dreamier from here. 🇬🇧✨
Day 4 took the group to York, the unofficial capital of Yorkshire and a city full of medieval charm, history, and a few sweet surprises. 🍫 After arriving by train, travelers set out on a walking tour through the old city, with stops near the ruins of the Abbey of St. Mary, the Bishops House, and the incredible York Minster, which often stands in for Westminster Abbey on screen. Afterward, everyone had time to wander, grab lunch, and explore York at their own pace. 🏰🚶♀️
Day 5 was all about the Brontë sisters, the Yorkshire moors, and a little literary magic. 📚🌿 The group traveled to Haworth, rode a historic steam train through the countryside, and visited the Brontë family home and gardens. From Jane Eyre to Wuthering Heights, this was a chance to step into the landscape that inspired some of literature’s most unforgettable stories. The day ended with a walk across the mysterious moors before returning to Harrogate for dinner. 🚂🌫️
On Day 6, the group said goodbye to Harrogate and headed to Newby Hall, a stunning 17th-century country home and filming location for Victoria, Gentleman Jack, and Peaky Blinders. After a private tour and time to explore the grounds, the journey continued to Thirsk for a visit to The World of James Herriot, where travelers explored the real home and surgery behind All Creatures Great and Small. 🐾🏡

We just got back from our Yorkshire: On Location with PBS trip!, and we have so much to share. 🇬🇧✨ Here’s part 1 of our amazing trip through London, Greenwich, and the first stop in Yorkshire.
Day 1 kicked off on Thursday, April 30, with the group arriving in London, settling in, and fighting off jet lag the best way possible: a stroll through Kensington. 🌸🏛️ Think grand homes, palace gardens, springtime charm, and a welcome dinner to officially start the adventure. 🍽️
Day 2 was all about London by water. 🚤 The group cruised down the Thames to Greenwich, passing icons like the Palace of Westminster, the London Eye, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, St Paul’s Cathedral, and the Tower of London along the way. Once in Greenwich, travelers had time to explore historic sites, royal landmarks, museums, and even a few familiar filming locations before heading back into the city for a night out in the West End. 🎭
By Day 3, it was time to trade London bustle for Yorkshire charm. 🚆 The group hopped on a train to Harrogate, a beautiful Victorian spa town with plenty of history, TV connections, and a little Agatha Christie mystery. The day wrapped with a traditional English tea at the world-famous Bettys Tearoom, complete with tiny sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea, and live piano music. ☕🍰🎹
London, Greenwich, Harrogate, and a whole lot of “can you believe we were actually there?” moments. Part 1 is already giving us major trip nostalgia. ✨
Follow along for part 2 of our journey through Yorkshire. 🇬🇧☕🌿
