Kicking off our 2026 winner showcase series, we're excited to announce the winners of the Live – Multi Unit & Single Family Residence category! 🏆
✨ BEST Award: The Village by Ezra Lee Design + Build
Designed as a private retreat that embraces landscape, family life, and play, The Village is a stunning example of architecture and interior design working in harmony with its surroundings. Responding directly to the cascading site, the home was carefully positioned to capture unobstructed views of Lone Peak while maintaining privacy from the street above. Expansive glazing, natural materials, and thoughtfully arranged living spaces create a seamless connection between indoors and out.
At the heart of the home, a sculptural kitchen serves as a gathering place for family and friends, while dedicated wellness, recreation, and sports spaces support a true work-hard, play-hard lifestyle. From the private sauna and cold plunge to the indoor sports level and outdoor amenities, every detail contributes to an immersive mountain oasis that balances bold design with everyday living.
🌟 Merit Award: The Journeyman by Vida Design
Inspired by the philosophy that life is a continuous journey with the need for a meaningful place to return, The Journeyman thoughtfully balances adventure, connection, and restoration. Through carefully designed interiors and amenity spaces, the project creates a welcoming environment that supports modern living while fostering a strong sense of home.

Continuing our 2026 winner showcase series, we're excited to announce the winners of the Play – Restaurant, Lounges, Bars, Retail & Boutiques category! 🏆
✨ BEST Award: Lagoon Amusement Park by WOW Atelier + Struck
Located at a key crossroads within the park, this project reimagines one of Lagoon’s most important guest experiences—the transition from arrival into the heart of the park. The design brings together three distinct yet interconnected spaces: Carousel Candy, Peacock Parlour, and a dramatic central Atrium that serves as both a gathering space and a gateway to future expansion.
Carousel Candy celebrates nostalgia and whimsy through repurposed vintage carousel horses, a custom canopy ceiling, and thoughtfully crafted millwork and display systems. Nearby, Peacock Parlour takes inspiration from Lagoon’s iconic peacocks, featuring a striking stained-glass menu wall, sculptural metal feather details, custom seating, and terrazzo flooring that subtly guides guests through the space. Together, these environments create a memorable and immersive experience that blends storytelling, craftsmanship, and play.
🌟 Merit Award: A Modern Mountain Icon Reimagined by GSBS Architects
Built on the site of Snowbird's original Mid-Gad lodge, this project honors a beloved mountain landmark while introducing a contemporary architectural expression. Expansive glazing captures breathtaking views of Gad Valley, while the dramatic cantilevered dining hall appears to float above the mountainside, creating a striking destination for guests year-round.
Congratulations to WOW Atelier, Struck, and GSBS Architects on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉 Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the outstanding projects and talented designers recognized at the .
