The Nightingale Foundation is excited to announce the launch of SPARK Afterschool, a hands-on healthcare career exploration program designed for middle school students. Designed as a semester-long afterschool program.

SPARK introduces students to careers in nursing, emergency medical services, medical imaging, laboratory science, dental care, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and more through:
✅ Hands-on activities and simulations
✅ Healthcare equipment demonstrations
✅ Guest speakers from the healthcare industry
✅ Virtual reality healthcare experiences
✅ Career exploration and workforce readiness opportunities

We are currently seeking our first pilot host sites for the 2026-2027 school year.
We welcome conversations with:

• Schools and school districts
• Boys & Girls Clubs
• YMCA organizations
• Community centers
• Youth-serving nonprofits
• Workforce development organizations
• After-school program providers
