Nightingale Foundation is excited to share that 2026 marks the official start of our 2026-2028 Strategic Plan. Created with expert guidance and direction from Lori Stanley Nonprofit Consulting, in collaboration with Nightingale Foundation Board and Staff, as well as input from the communities the foundation supports, this plan lays out the strategic direction from the foundation in the coming years.

We encourage you to review our plan and explore ways to get involved in supporting Nightingale Foundation in creating a stronger, more connected nursing workforce. Questions? Ask us: [email protected] or visit our website www.nightingalefoundation.org

Empowering future nurses starts with scholarships.

Every application represents a future nurse working toward a meaningful career in healthcare and it deserves thoughtful review.

As application submissions grow, so does our need for dedicated volunteer reviewers. By giving a bit of your time, you can help identify and cultivate the next generation of nurses.

Volunteer as a Scholarship Application Reviewer, reach out to Lindsey at [email protected]. Help turn nursing dreams into reality.

Want to help learners like Mary fuel their dream? Your gift removes barriers and truly changes lives for future nurses:

• $10 can provide meals for low-income learners during their schooling
• $25 can support summer nursing camps for middle school students
• $50 can connect rural learners with internet for their distance learning

Calling passionate changemakers, creative thinkers, and people who love turning good ideas into real impact!

Nightingale Foundation is building something special and we’re looking for incredible humans to join our Advisory Committee!

This isn’t one of those “sit quietly on a committee and occasionally nod on Zoom/Teams” situations. We are looking for:
• Big ideas
• Meaningful collaboration
• Community advocates and changemakers
• People passionate about nursing, nursing education, health equity, and community impact
• Strategic thinkers who also know how to roll up their sleeves

Whether your background is in healthcare, nursing, education, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, business, advocacy, marketing, or simply caring deeply about making a difference for the future healthcare workforce, there’s a seat for you at the table.

Perks include:
• Inspiring conversations
• Helping shape meaningful initiatives
• Networking with purpose-driven people
• Actually seeing your ideas create impact

If you've ever said or thought to yourself “I’d love to get more involved and make a difference,” this is your sign. If you’ve been looking for a way to use your voice, expertise, and energy for something meaningful, this is your moment.

Come help us dream bigger, think smarter, and make a difference together. ❤️
