We're so excited to welcome our Neuro Residency Class of 2026! Meet Amanda Martin:

Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m honored to be part of the University of Utah’s 2025–26 Neuro Residency cohort. Originally from Knoxville, TN, I completed my undergrad at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) and earned my DPT from East Tennessee State University in 2024.
I chose the University of Utah’s residency program because of its exceptional reputation for clinical mentorship, commitment to research, and high standard of patient care. I’m truly looking forward to learning from and collaborating with a team of experienced clinicians who provide high quality care and embrace excellence in neurological rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, I’m a competitive long-distance runner and occasional cyclist. I’m eager to explore Utah’s natural beauty, take on new adventures—like learning to ski—and continue living an active, balanced lifestyle.
I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to grow both personally and professionally as part of this residency experience.

We're so excited to welcome our Neuro Residency Class of 2026! Meet Peter Uyt Den Bogaard:

Hi, my name is Peter and I am excited to be a part of the University of Utah’s Neuro Residency this year. I am originally from Seattle, Washington and completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder (Sko Buffs). I then moved on to complete my doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Deciding I wasn’t quite done at the U, I am now looking forward to advancing my clinical skills, abilities, and furthering my education in neuro rehab. It is such a privilege to be able to work with amazing mentors in incredible facilities.

In my free time, I love to trail run, read, hang out with my fiancé and dog, and spend time with friends!

Being a part of this residency has been a goal of mine since before I started PT school and I am so excited to be starting this journey.
