Happiness isn’t something you achieve.
It’s something you design your life to support.
In my book, I break happiness down into four simple (but not easy) keys:
✨ Accept that you won’t feel happy all the time
✨ Sit with the hard feelings instead of avoiding them
✨ Stay present — it’s the only moment that’s real
✨ Spend your time in ways that align with your values
This is the foundation of The Working Mom Happiness Method — and it’s how real, sustainable happiness is built.
💬 Which one of these feels hardest for you right now?

Every vote matters.
Every phone call matters.
We can make the change, but nothing changes if nothing changes. It’s never too late to change your mind, start speaking up, and/or vote differently.

So many high-achieving working moms tell me they want to rest…
but feel uncomfortable, guilty, or “lazy” when they actually do.
That’s not a personal failure — it’s conditioning.
When your value has been tied to productivity for decades, rest can feel unsafe.
But rest isn’t something you earn.
It’s something you need.
💬 Tell me — does rest feel easy or uncomfortable for you?
I used a CapCut template to recap this past week, and it’s pretty funny, but I’m also kind of into it 🤣. The template came with this song, and I like this song, so I went with it even though it makes zero sense 🤷🏼♀️.
This week included the usual work days, F45 workouts, and hikes with Po, but it was also both boys’ first Jr. Jazz bball games, some January outside golf (wild for where we live), and Sam turned 17 on the 17th 🎉. It was also my mom’s bday on the 14th, so we partied it up at Benihana.
Hope you had a great week!

Many of us learned to keep going by pushing feelings aside.
But over time, that avoidance becomes exhausting.
Happiness isn’t about avoiding hard emotions — it’s about learning how to feel them without being consumed by them.
That’s part of the work.
More on this all month and in my book, The Working Mom Happiness Method, coming out in April 🤍
Happiness isn’t about feeling good all the time.
It’s about knowing how to sit with real emotions without losing yourself in them.

We’re often taught to think happiness is something we’ll feel once life gets easier.
But happiness isn’t something you wait for, it’s created through how you live.
Through the choices you make.
Through the boundaries you set.
Through living in ways that don’t quietly exhaust you.
That’s the work.
If you’re burned out, something does need to change.
Not because you’re incapable, but because the way you’re living and working right now isn’t sustainable.
Burnout isn’t a character flaw.
It’s feedback.
And learning how to respond to that feedback is a skill.
