WRMS is excited to launch a brand new student event for the very first time… Tattoo a Teacher!

On Monday, May 18th, students will have the opportunity to purchase temporary tattoos for participating staff members to wear throughout the school day. Tattoos will range from $1-$4, and purchases will begin Friday, May 15th.

This is a fun, lighthearted way to build school culture, celebrate positive relationships, and create memorable experiences for our students and staff as we close out the school year together.

We are incredibly thankful for the many staff members who volunteered to participate and help make this first-ever event something special for our Bulldogs.

Tonight was a special evening for West Rowan Middle School at the Rowan-Salisbury Schools Board of Education meeting.

Miss Davis and Mr. Rowan were recognized as our Staff Member of the Year and Teacher of the Year, two honors that reflect the incredible impact they make on our students and school community every day.

We also celebrated two of our students for being published in the district literary magazine — an outstanding accomplishment that showcases their creativity and talent. In addition, our FFA team was recognized for earning 1st place at the regional rally, representing WRMS with pride and excellence.

Nights like tonight are a reminder of how special this school community truly is. Proud of our students, proud of our staff, and proud to be a Bulldog. West is Best!

Today, the Bulldog Band traveled to Carowinds to perform at the Festival of Music! They performed for a panel of judges and earned an Excellent rating! After, they enjoyed the rest of their day spending time with each other, riding rollercoasters, and having fun!!🎶🎉

Huge congratulations to our Girls Volleyball team on bringing home the Tri-County Championship.

This group has put in the work all season long, and it showed when it mattered most. Their effort, discipline, and ability to compete together set them apart. They represented our school the right way and earned this championship through consistency and grit.

We are proud of the way they supported one another, stayed focused, and finished the job.

Huge congratulations to our Baseball team on an incredible accomplishment—back-to-back Conference Champions! ⚾️ 🎉

This kind of success doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of hard work, discipline, and a commitment to each other every single day. Proud of the way this team continues to represent our school with excellence.

West Rowan Middle School FFA had a great day at the Southwest Regional Rally! 🎉

They earned 1st place in the Exploring Biotechnology Quiz Bowl for the Southwest Region, 3rd place in Exploring Agricultural Tools & Materials for the Southwest Region, and 3rd place in the Federation for Tool ID, qualifying them for state competition!
