Our 2026 valedictorian, Heavan Claus, has served on the Salisbury Youth Council for three years. This year, she held the office of council secretary. At this year’s End of Year Celebration, Heavan was awarded with the Most Impactful Youth in the Community Award.

She will be attending Catawba College in the fall majoring in Information Technology.

NEA is truly proud of Heavan’s accomplishments during her tenure as a scholar!!

Promotion to middle school is upon us!! Our 5th grade scholar is trying on his promotion regalia.

NEA’s middle school program includes a library of classes that include core academics, world languages, career and technical education courses. Eligible eighth grade scholars may take high school courses.
