The Catawba College Center for the Environment is excited to share updates in the NC Green Schools Program that will benefit your school, teachers, and students.
The NC Green Schools Program has been rebranded as the EnviroSmart Schools Program. We will continue to recognize PreK-12 schools that achieve levels of Commitment, Achievement, and Excellence in Sustainability through active participation, applied research, and innovation.

Reduce your energy use!! While your rooms, classrooms and hallways should be well-lit, there are ways that you can reduce your energy use. One of the best and easiest ways is by turning off all computers before leaving for the day, rather than setting them to sleep mode!!
