So many great things happening today, for Happy Roots and Henderson Independent High School students. A huge thank you to Samantha Foxx, master gardener and beekeeper 🐝 of Mother's Finest Urban Family Farms for being such a positive light and for sharing what you do and your life experiences with our students. It was such a pleasure having you visit. Our students had a lot of firsts today, all got up close and personal with bees, some tried honey for the first time, and two were interviewed for some upcoming Happy Roots projects. Amazing things are happening for Henderson students. 💜💛🦅

These kids never cease to amaze me, they did a phenomenal job today selling at the Happy Roots Holiday Plant Sale raising $400 in two hours. 💜💛🦅

It’s pretty amazing to see how an hour in the green house or garden can transform a kids whole attitude. Ms. Ashley and Happy Roots are such an important part of our school community. We are having another plant sale on Wednesday, please come support an organization that has showed continuous love and compassion to our students. 💜💛🦅
