Want to learn a fun way to remember the strings on a guitar? 🎸Meet Lawrence! 👼
He helps students remember the string names on the guitar with a mnemonic device:
From top to bottom on a guitar, the strings are E-A-D-G-B-E.
All my students have to do is recite this fun phrase:
"Easter
Angels
Don't
Give
Broken
Eggs."
Lawrence is here to help, not give you broken eggs! 🥚

Did you know that today, May 15, is International Family Day? 👨👩👧👦
One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is teaching siblings! Family jam sessions are the best (I speak from personal experience!) and playing together creates happy moments and life-long memories. 🩷
Two of my students are sisters and one of them is learning the guitar while the other is learning ukulele. They're so excited to start playing together! 🎸

the one who pushed me to practice when I was feeling discouraged, because she knew that I loved it and it would bless me for the rest of my life; 🩷
and the one who keeps encouraging me every day to live my dream and calling of teaching others what I love. 🎸
