✨Ukulele Fun Fact!✨

Did you know that Ukulele means "Jumping Flea" in Hawaiian? This is because ukulele players "jump" with their fingers all over the fretboard and the music sounds light and bouncy!

One of my students showing off the new song she's learning! 🌋🌴
"Lava" is such a fun song to start with on the ukulele and exercises so many of the new techniques we learn together. 🎶🌅

In this video she's playing the C, G7, and F chords, as well as using the Island strum she's learning in the Beginner II Ukulele course!

Want to learn a fun way to remember the strings on a guitar? 🎸Meet Lawrence! 👼
He helps students remember the string names on the guitar with a mnemonic device:
From top to bottom on a guitar, the strings are E-A-D-G-B-E.

All my students have to do is recite this fun phrase:
"Easter
Angels
Don't
Give
Broken
Eggs."

Lawrence is here to help, not give you broken eggs! 🥚
