2026-27 FAFSA

The Massachusetts priority filing date is May 1, 2026. Students who file after this date could lose eligibility for certain state programs.
Changes to federal processing will begin April 26, 2026. FAFSAS filed after this date could be delayed for an indeterminate amount of time.

Scholarship Opportunity:
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with Denny’s to offer Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate college students. Students at HACU-member institutions can apply for one of the five ($2,000) Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarships to be awarded.
The Denny’s Hungry for Education Scholarship is available to students in all majors who meet the following eligibility criteria:
Undergraduate or graduate student.
Must be currently enrolled for spring 2026 semester at a 2-year or 4-year HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
Intend to enroll in the fall 2026 semester at a 2-year or 4-year HACU-member institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
U.S. Citizens or permanent residents.
