OUR PROGRAM & VALUES
YMCA Camp Greider has been providing outdoor day camp experiences for children for decades. We believe and teach the values of the YMCA: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring through our intentional camp programming. From flag raising and chapel in the morning to skill groups and camper’s choice time in the afternoon, our focus is helping children learn and be successfu

Today during Five Days of Action®, we’re highlighting the
importance of monitoring online activity and having a plan.

Did you know 1 in 5 children who use a digital device will be
sexually solicited online? Technology changes fast, and kids are
targeted on the apps, games, and sites they love. Having a Cyber
P.L.A.N., monitoring device use, and teaching online safety rules
can help keep your child safe. Visit fivedaysofaction.org and check
out resources from our partners in child abuse prevention,
, to learn how to set boundaries, teach good cyber
habits, and protect your family online.

Today’s Five Days of Action® focus is on recognizing red flags
online and in-person.

Certain behaviors can signal risk for child sexual abuse and
understanding them helps you act early to keep kids safe. We’re
sharing an infographic that shows what to watch for—whether the
behavior may be low, moderate, or high risk—and these behaviors,
or grooming, can show up both in person and online
situations. Visit fivedaysofaction.org for the infographic and be
sure to check out the resources provided by the Y’s partners in
child abuse prevention, National Children’s Alliance.
