Garmr’s full 84 IGP3 Track DVG Nationals. Missed last 2 articles, but we are looking forward to the Stadium tomorrow at 11:25am!

Well Garmr tracked so good he walked 2 articles and got a 84! I am super proud of Colleen with Rev getting a 98v! The student becomes the teacher!

DVG Nationals flight 5-3. Tracking 8am Friday! Hoping all the work will pay off tomorrow. We’ll see what we got dialed in this time!

Schutzhund tracking trial prepping with brand new articles from epoch_canine Epoch Canine Training Solutions. Got these in 2 days after ordering. He’s always fast with shipping out your gear! It’s great when you procrastinate like me lol.. should have had these last month.

Here we have Mr. Buckely, the rescue Lab, starting his training journey. Overall, obedience foundations are teaching your pup their name and to keep attention and focus on you. This way, they aren't looking, barking, or lunging at everything else in the world!

A nice beginning training session working on his name response and learning to follow the leash guidance… also accidentally filmed in time lapse… so all my amazing talking and insights unfortunately didn’t get recorded. 😂 😞

Introducing Mr. Buckley! My new pup from the Oregon Humane Society. 5mnth old Lab, returned once already after a day at previous home for snapping/nipping over a kong toy. He has LOTS of energy and drive!
I love labs, and knew he was going to probably not make it with his resource guarding. We’re off to a great start! Lots of new content coming on training a new rescue puppy showing how my training system also works for pet dogs! He’s going to do it all! He’ll he might even be my new Schutzhund dog. :).

Garmr’s IGP3 track 94! I was really happy with him. He hasn’t been on dirt since the last trial, ( which I recommend tracking in trial conditions as much as you can before a trial) Solid foundations are key! Since his last trial in May, I haven’t tracked him until the week before the trial we got 5 tracks in. Garmr’s been in the mountains w me Elk hunting in September, then Deer hunting beginning of October.
I’d say it was cutting it a little close, but IMHO the last week before the trial is where you make or break it anyway. :). I feel like if we got on dirt and practiced more than 2 l, hour old tracks he would have probably V’ed. But I’ll take a 94 track any day!
