Congratulations to the happy couple. The sides of the box are made of lumber I was told was a type of mahogany when I bought it off an instructor at the Vermont woodworking school a few years back. The top, bottom, splines and feet are all made from hard maple from my time in Vermont and the lid is supported by high quality Brusso stop hinges. Also pay no mind to the low quality photo backdrop I didn't have time to get a high quality set taken before the wedding.

Congratulations to the happy couple. It is a tiger maple and figured mahogany wine box. The box is constructed with simple finger joints. The outer surfaces of the tiger maple box were dyed an amber color to enhance the figure in the wood while the inner surface is un-dyed for an interesting contrast when opened
