ADD/DROP ENDS TODAY!
If you are looking to add or drop a course for the fall semester, TODAY (WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 9) is the deadline!

While the deadline is 11:59pm, most offices close at 5pm so you would need to plan ahead as you may need permission (like for a first year seminar) or advice/guidance (from Academic Advising, Navigation Center, Residence Life, Veterans Affairs). Remember, dropping below 12 credits may impact financial aid, housing, etc.

DO NOT WAIT IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING ADDING OR DROPPING! Lines at these offices will get long at the end of the day so avoid waiting and get the help NOW!

Calling all of our incoming first-gen,first-year students!!! If you haven't signed up for the First-Gen Academy which starts this coming Monday, the deadline is TODAY (Thursday July 23).

The registration link was sent to your Salem State email last week. We hope you'll take us up on the offer to earn 1 free credit towards graduation (no cost!) while connecting with others students and learning how you can navigate your first-gen identity and college this fall!

We will meet Mondays on Zoom from 4:30pm - 6pm through the end of August!

First-generation first-year students - this is your opportunity to STEP UP and get connected!
Salem State University is offering first-gen students (neither parent/guardian has received a 4 year bachelors degree from a college/university in the United States) a FREE one credit course this summer - the First-Gen Academy!

No books, no payments, online course, once a week (Monday evenings), an easy opportunity to take a class, learn about steps/tips/processes as you begin college, meet other students and make friends, and celebrate being first!
