From PCUN:
On Saturday, July 3rd PCUN will host a vigil to honor the passing of Sebastian Francisco Perez, the 38-year old farmworker, husband, brother, and son who lost his life due to heat-illness at the workplace.
As we anticipate emergency rules from Oregon OSHA we want to ensure that there are no more avoidable worker deaths due to excessive heat or wildfire smoke. Help us advocate for strong protections that include: cool, clean water, shaded break areas, additional paid breaks when temperatures exceed 90 degrees, mandatory paid training, and retaliation protections.
To take ACTION!

Hello Everyone!
We are excited to announce that the next round of scholarships is going to be live next Thursday, April 1st at 7pm (04/01/2021) The scholarship covers the cost of the $495.00 dollars that go towards USCIS only. We have a limited amount of scholarships so they will be given on a first come first serve basis with priority given to first time applicants. We do not have any requirements besides that you are in the renewal period date of 6 months and that you fill out the scholarship form completely. If this is your first time applying for DACA, we ask that you complete the process within 6 months of receiving the scholarship. The scholarship will be a check addressed to the USCIS. Meaning that we are not able to reimburse you for lawyers fees or if you have already sent in your application.
If you or someone you know is able to sponsor a scholarship in full, please email [email protected] or message us on Facebook or Instagram.
If you are not able to donate $495, we encourage you to donate whatever amount you can at http://tinyurl.com/DonateODC. Every dollar helps us provide support to undocumented youth.
Please share. Thank you for your support 😊
