🍋⚡ Can a lemon create electricity?

This summer, our students explored that question through a hands-on STEM activity using lemons, copper, and zinc.

What began as a simple science experiment quickly became an opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and demonstrate how scientific concepts connect to the real world.

One of the most rewarding moments was hearing the students' reactions when they realized that everyday materials could be used to generate electricity.

At Hope Learn & Play™, we believe meaningful learning happens when students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and discover answers through experience.

Experiences like these help transform science from something students read about into something they can see, test, and understand for themselves.
