13 years married today. Look what we’ve built!

This precious boy is 8 today. My youngest! Full of life. 100 miles an hour since the moment he saw light. He told me today that I’m the thing that makes him the happiest in the while wide world. Then he said he can’t wait to grow up and move to Alaska. I’m not sure, but I think that means I’m nailing it. 😉

She gets her nose from her mama, her eyes from her daddy, her smile from her grandma....but the ability to love was inserted into her DNA by the Good, Good Father. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Generational blessings are real and powerful. And this baby girl, she has a warehouse full ❤️

So many momma shoots these days, and I am NOT complaining! There is literally not a thing in the entire world, more beautiful than a momma and her babies.

This momma sat upon this chair knowing hard road that lay before her. In only days, her baby girl tucked safely inside her, would be whisked away to immediate heart surgery. Her little infant lungs not even filled with the first breath, and already a fight for the next one. In this picture, she knows. She's researched. She's prayed. She's wrestled anxiety in the bitter hours past midnight. But here, with an inexplicable peace, she gazes out the window knowing every moment she waits, she doesn't wait alone.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

God refines and perfects us in the waiting. The anticipation, the trusting...even the fear of the unknown...these are the flames that fuel the fire our relationship with Him is being forged in. Life is tragic and beautiful, and scary and peaceful, a contradiction to the world who walks through it without Faith.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For the momma in this photo...and for me...we sit in silence amidst all storms, with Joy...and with Hopeful Expectation.

I know it’s only October, but I’ve gone to December in my mind.
