I have always asked myself what is one thing I learned playing baseball?

The answer?

Make sure that you’re living in the moment! Personally, I feel like I got caught up worrying about what was next for me in my career and where it was headed instead of living in the moment.

With that being said this message is for Seniors & for guys who play with seniors!

As you enter your final season of baseball, I want to take a moment to reflect the remarkable journey you’ve experienced and the memories yet to be created. Each game, every practice, and all the camaraderie you’ve enjoyed with your teammates are moments that will always influence who you are.

This season is more than just the games; it’s about the bonds formed, the lessons learned, and the joy of engaging in the sport you cherish. As you tie your cleats for the final time with this squad, I urge you to appreciate every moment. Celebrate the triumphs, uplift each other through the obstacles, and take in the small joys—like the scent of freshly mowed grass, the sound of the bat hit the ball, and the laughter enjoyed in the dugout.

Keep in mind, it’s not only about winning; it’s about the journey and the individuals who journey alongside you. Approach each game as if it might be your last, and don’t hesitate to express your love for the game. Compete fiercely, but more crucially, compete with heart.

You have made a significant impact on this team and this sport, and although saying goodbye may be difficult, understand that the experiences and friendships you’ve cultivated will last forever.

Now Go Ball Out!
