The School Centennial Celebration 🥳🥳🥳

Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 p.m., Midtown Academy (front of the school)

Our school building has such a rich history in our community. Come celebrate it’s Centennial year with us! There will be a brief program presented by past alumni of the school, a butterfly garden ribbon cutting, a drum circle for kids, school tours, and food trucks and a dining area. 💚💙💚💙💚🐎🐎🐎

Please come and help yourself to the leftover soil just outside of our Midtown school garden. We had quite a bit leftover from the Centennial Butterfly Garden project, and we don’t want it to go to waste – or to be an eyesore at the Centennial event! Help us by helping yourself to some soil before Thursday afternoon this week! While you’re there, you can check out our beautiful new butterfly garden! 🐛🦋🐞🐝🐜

Special thanks to all of our Midtown parent volunteers who worked so hard to install the garden, and also to our amazing contributors - Sweet Bay Native Nursery, The Wild Floridian, DM Construction LLC (and hopefully the Sierra Club, too)!

Thanks to our phenomenal PTA volunteers and leaders, our school now has a stunning and colorful butterfly garden! 🪻🌸🌼🌻🌱

✔️ $1,000 in plants

✔️ 1,000 lbs of trash and organic waste removed

I think we owe Mr. McNatt a new gardening outfit for his residence! Wow, that’s some dedication! Thank you to EVERYONE who rolled up their sleeves and put in some hard labor yesterday (on a Saturday) to make this vision a reality ahead of our 100th anniversary celebration!

School is officially out for the summer! 😉

This Saturday at Barbara S Ponce Public Library of Pinellas Park!!

2nd grade celebrated the last day of school yesterday with a beach bash! They circulated through rotations like sand art, kinetic sand, bubbles, building towers and tossing a ball at it, and so much more! Thank you to our PTA volunteers for helping the 2nd grade team of teachers with this event! Great job, Ms. Fay, Ms. McCrea, Ms. Penrod, and Ms. Sapienza! The students all look very HAPPY! 🌴🌺🌸🌴🌺🌸

School is almost out for the summer! 😎

Thank you to our fabulous PTA for hosting a fun evening at the St. Pete Shuffleboard Club for our staff PTA Members. We had a great time playing shuffleboard, enjoying the charcuterie spreads, and conversing. 🙂🙂🙂
