As a woman who's struggled with emotional eating and eating disorders

The biggest reason I see people not making progress with their health, is their negativity.

People who complain about their lives, and instead of working at it or using strategies to make it better, just continue to sit it in… is why they’re stuck in sickness.

If you look around at your life and you’re dissatisfied, that doesn’t mean you can’t fix it.

You gotta come to the realization that all of this stuff that you are telling yourself as to why you can’t...

“I’m too tired.”

“I’m too busy.”

“I’m too frustrated.”

“It’s not fair.”

“It’s harder for me.”

“I’m too old.”

“I’m too young.”

Whatever the heck it is...

You are selling yourself those stories.

..and we all have the ability to sell ourselves better than anybody else can sell us.

The solution to this is very simple...

1. Stop buying what you’re selling. Stop believing the narratives that just aren’t true.

2. Do what you gotta do. Work on a healthy mindset. Work on the language that comes out of your mouth, not just the diet that goes in it.

Your life will get a lot better as a result ❤️❤️

I’m not even going to try to put this transformation into my own words, and explain exactly how we did it.

Let me just say that this was one of the most incredible, rewarding, and transformative partnerships of my coaching career .

Working with the LGBTQ community has unique challenges. Working with someone for years, and then going through a transition with them, develops a relationship that is beyond hard to describe.

“I came to Jaime seeking guidance. I felt like a knew a little about fitness but didn’t know how to put the pieces together. She helped me to put them together, add more pieces, and manage my struggles more easily.

I had seen her posts and thought I didn’t need a coach; but once I took the leap I realized how valuable it is to have someone on your team helping you to work towards your goals.

The biggest change I saw working with Jaime was overall body composition changes. Other than the physical I felt a mindset shift with how I viewed my health and fitness and my time in the gym.

It became something I craved and did for me because I wanted to be better for myself. Having surgery while working with Jaime was a mentally taxing experience but she helped me see the potential immediately after being able to return to working out.

Seeing visible change so quickly post-op was incredibly motivating and satisfying. Being able to work with someone knowing they won’t judge you for who you are and hep you become the person you want to be is an incredible experience.”

That’s all I’ve got.

In the immortal words of the Backstreet Boys, “I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you did … As long as you love me.” ((Love me = work with me 🤣))

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,

I love you directly without problems or pride:

I love you like this because I don’t know any other way to love,

except in this form in which I am not nor are you,

so close that your hand upon my chest is mine,

so close that your eyes close with my dreams.”

Thank you to Pablo Neruda for helping me put my feelings into words ❤️ I love you . Happy Valentine’s Day to my forever.

You don’t get to pick and choose which details are important for your success and which aren’t...

They’re all important.

..and oftentimes, it’s the smallest, most seemingly insignificant details that are actually the most important details of all.

Doing things the well is a character trait. It’s an identity.

It’s making the conscious decision to execute at the highest level possible FOR YOU every single time the opportunity presents itself.

It’s a value, a habit, and a skill that is required for your success.

If you’ll cut corners on the things you don’t think are important...

You’ll cut corners on the things that actually are important...

Guaranteed.

How you do one thing is how you do everything.

If you aren’t building the habit of executing at a high level every single time...

You’re actually training yourself to cut corners and produce a result that is much less than the result you’re looking to produce.

Here’s my advice:
Develop the highest standard of ex*****on you possibly can...

..and make it a non-negotiable for you.

That’s what it takes. Drop a 🔥🔥 in the chat if you’re going to commit with me to doing the best YOU can every single day.

Breathe, stretch, shake — Let it go 🌬️💪

Honestly, I didn’t believe in the power of breath work at the beginning. I thought it was a silly mindfulness trend… until I started doing it regularly.

Breath work isn’t some airy-fairy concept (pun intended); it’s a tactical solution against stress, and here’s why you need it in your arsenal.

We all know that anxiety is a relentless enemy, but guess what? You hold the power to heal it. Inhale slow, exhale strong – that’s the game-changer. It’s not a magic trick; it’s literally a science-backed strategy.

As an online health and wellness coach, I’ve seen the transformation in badass clients tackling anxiety head-on using this tool. This is why I introduce it to almost every new client.

Especially for my LGBTQ+ 🏳️‍🌈community who struggles, it’s not a trend; it’s a commitment to empowering every damn soul.

Breath work is the no-nonsense solution for warriors battling stress. No need for rainbows and unicorns – just raw, intentional breathing (well, maybe some rainbows).

This was my rebel yell against anxiety, which is why I’m talking about it now.

So take control, breathe intentionally, and watch stress crumble. If you’re a visual learner, and want a video about box breathing and other techniques, drop a ❤️ in the comments!

Understand that the only way to break free of anxiety is by TAKING ACTION.

The more action you take...

The less doubt you’ll have.

The less doubt you have...

The less fear you’ll experience.

The less fear you experience...

The more action you’ll take.

Even though anxiety can keep you trapped in a vicious cycle...

The minute you take action is the minute you’ll break free.

Affirmations are stupid and cheesy.

I won’t disagree. But also… they f***ing work.

Scientifically, affirmations have shown positive effects on mental well-being through various mechanisms.

When people do affirmations, they often experience a shift in mindset and how they see themselves.

Affirmations have been proven to contribute to a more positive self-image, bolstering self-esteem and reducing the impact of negative thoughts.

More important for those of us struggle with anxiety and overwhelm, affirmations tend to activate the reward centers in the brain, releasing neurochemicals associated with motivation and goal achievement.

From a long term perspective, regular affirmation practice can lead to a rewiring of neural pathways, promoting a more optimistic and resilient outlook.

Additionally, affirmations have been linked to stress reduction and improved emotional regulation, ie. no more mood swings, fighting with your spouse, or emotional reactivity when stuff happens.

The act of repeating positive statements may counteract the brain’s natural negativity bias, fostering a more balanced perspective.

Incorporating affirmations into daily routines can be an incredible tool for cultivating a positive mindset and enhancing mental health.

Save this post and drop a ❤️ in the comments if you like these affirmations, and plan on changing your mind / mood going into 2024

🚨𝗟𝗮𝘀t Day 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝗻 $𝟭𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦🚨⁣

“Right now isn’t the best time to invest in a fitness program”

Totally understandable… but I’m curious: When is the best time?

In reality, we are always busy. There’s always something we could be doing. We’re always going to have something going on.

So many of us put off our health this season (and stop hitting our New Year’s intentions), thinking that spring will magically get less busy ⁣(kids aren’t in school, life slows down…)

So I say, ⁣start when it feels hard WITH support so you can learn how to navigate the hard times.

That way, when times are “easy”, then it’ll be easier to keep up WITHOUT support!

The way I see it, there are two options:
You can continue in 2024 on the same path you were on in 2023🚶‍♀️

Or…

You can take personal responsibility for your health and happiness and change your path before it’s too late ⏰

“I’m going to lose 15 lbs this year 🥳” —>

If this has been your resolution for the past few years, that’s proof that you can’t do it alone, that you need help. AND HERE’S WHY:

Diet culture sets you up for failure. I’m not saying you can’t do it, I’m just saying what you’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked long term because the system is not designed that way.

Diet culture push fad diets, BS teas, and meds like Mounjaro, Ozempic and Wagovy instead of teaching us lifestyle habits and behavior modifications.

This doesn’t help you at all - in fact, it hurts, emotionally and physically.

In our program, we don’t push our agenda. We will give you the tools and resources you need to hit your goals once and for all, so you never have to make a new year’s resolution to get in shape again.

We will teach you the most effective strategies to changing your body composition once and for all using:
✅ Nutrition
✅ Mindset
✅ Movement

Stop the cycle of starting over. Stop the cycle of losing, gaining, losing, and gaining.

It’s time to take control, to feel incredible in your own skin, and to live a life full of energy and vitality

This isn’t about quick fixes or empty promises. This is about sustainable, lifelong change. You have the power to take control of your health and wellbeing forever.

Our team is here to support you every step of the way. Let’s do this together!

Comment SCHOLARSHIP if you’re you’re an overwhelmed 30+ woman who would love to lose 15-25 lbs and increase confidence - and do it all for FREE (by winning the scholarship 😏🥳)

Sorry not sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have dozens of clients who’ve come to us thinking the exact same thing you are:

“I need someone in-person pushing me”

“It’s probably really expensive.”

“I’m not good with technology or apps.”

And the truth is, a lot of them almost back out and don’t sign up.

But a little voice tells them that it’s worth it, and to give it a shot…

They end up losing weight, reducing anxiety, and increasing confidence.

Their only regret is that they didn’t start sooner!

In fact, that’s literally the only regret I’ve ever heard from any of our clients…

Is that they didn’t start sooner.

Know what I mean? 😉😏

DM me “TRAINING”, and let me be that little voice in my head. What’s the worst that could happen?

I looked at the two nurses in the waiting room, covered in black suit, as they cried, and tried to find the words to tell me …

March 28, 2007. My dad was gone.

My dad was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in July 1987. All the doctors told him (and my mom) that he had a year, at best, to live. They gave my parents all the grim statistics about ALS, told them how his body would shut down, and plotted a future hell on earth. For them and their unborn baby (me) - who was due a month later.

Instead of preparing for the end, we took every opportunity to travel as a family, we went to as many Broadway productions as we could, and we spoke at dozens of motivational events as a family.

None of THOSE options were ever discussed in the ALS pamphlets 🙃

For almost 20 years, death tapped my dad on the shoulder. But my dad told the grim reaper that he wasn't ready yet. He continued working hard and learning more (he studied with a rabbi who came to our house twice a week, every week).

He did the impossible by believing it was possible.

I watched my dad suffer, and I never heard him complain. Not once.

He insisted that life was not unfair. Saying so would mean that the last two decades were unfair, and he loved his life. He just hated the disease. As he used to say, "It is better to light a candle, that to curse the darkness."

And for him, that meant a simple choice: Either feel bad for yourself, or do something to make your life the best you possibly can.

My dad got lucky. Sometimes, people do everything right, and ALS still takes life far too fast.

But he loved life so much that he was unwilling to see his sickness as anything other than another obstacle he would overcome.

In facing death, my dad believed the world needed more positivity.

If there was anything I learned from him, it's that optimism and faith are the way.

My dad passed away away in a housefire. You may not have known him, but here’s a lesson we can all learn from him: life isn’t unfair – it only becomes unfair when you choose to see it that way.
