Welcome to our team, Mary Hughes!
Mary Ann Hughes is an accomplished performer and National Board Certified Teacher (NCTB). She is currently playing cello with the Tampa Bay Symphony and the chamber group “And I Love Her Violins”. Before moving to Florida, she spent over 25 years in Virginia teaching strings and piano at the high school and college level as well as running her own private teaching studio, serving as a guest conductor and adjudicator for orchestra events, founding new chamber ensembles and working in the music community to advance the arts with both adults and young people.
Mary is teaching strings and piano at our 5625 4th Street N location.
