In my view, Board President Steven Blair did not provide sufficient oversight of the superintendent search firm, and did not secure any refund or cost recovery for the expensive process.

Taxpayers deserve leaders who will actively protect district resources and push for accountability in how our money is spent.

What the bill does: It restricts the use of federal education funds (under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act) for teaching or promoting “gender ideology” in public elementary and middle schools. It also requires parental consent before schools make certain gender-related changes for a child, such as updating names, pronouns, or access to s*x-specific facilities (e.g., bathrooms, locker rooms).

It still needs to pass the Senate and be signed by the President to become law. 🙏

‼️The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the "Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act" (H.R. 2616), legislation aimed at restricting the use of federal education funds for teaching or promoting gender ideology in public elementary and middle schools.

The bill must still pass the Senate and receive presidential approval before taking effect.

Where is the final State Auditor’s follow-up report on the $229K+ payout to former Superintendent Mike Dominguez?

The Missouri State Auditor issued a subpoena in December 2025 after the district dragged its feet. That was 6 months ago. The follow-up to the 2024 “Poor” rated audit is still listed as “in progress” with no public release.

This is the same district already flagged for major transparency failures on the $78M+ high school cost overruns. Enough with the delays — we deserve answers on how our tax dollars are being spent.
