Dear Parents,

In light of today’s horrific shooting at Annunciation School in Minneapolis, MN, we unite our prayers with the prayers of the entire Universal Church for the 2 students who were killed, the dozens who were injured, for their classmates, and for their families who have suffered an unimaginable trauma in their parish community. Our solidarity with the community at Annunciation is rooted in our Catholic faith, and we are reminded of the words of St. Paul, “when one part of the Body suffers, all the members suffer with it.” We ask all our school families to pray a decade of the Holy Rosary tonight for the community at Annunciation, especially for those families who have an empty chair at their dinner table this evening.

The safety of your children is our top priority here at All Saints. Every parish and school has unique safety needs and considerations for its campus and location. Be assured that we have a robust safety protocol that has been reviewed and revised over the years to respond to the ever- changing world around us—including locked-door procedures, supervision policies, and intruder drills. Every member of our community—from our director and our catechists to our students—is diligent about creating a strong culture of safeguarding in our PSR program. In addition, we regularly receive guidance from the Archdiocese on various safety-related matters, and we have an active, open relationship with local law enforcement, so that they can respond to any issues that may arise.

Be assured of our prayers and of our commitment to a safe, faith-filled environment here at All Saints.

In Christ,

Fr. John Schneier and TJ Mesler

To honor the powerful words of our pastor and our director of faith formation, PSR families began the night with a short decade of the rosary and ended with the Hail, Holy Queen.

Lord, hear our prayers.

If you’ve ever thought, “Why does everything feel so hard?” you’re not alone.

The Theology of the Body reminds us that work and toil aren’t the same. Before the Fall, Adam and Eve’s work was fulfilling—it united them and bore real fruit. But after the Fall, sin made work feel heavy, meaningless, and divisive.

Sound familiar?

That’s the source of so much of our weariness—when our efforts in parenting, marriage, and daily life feel like toil instead of joy.

But here’s the good news:

✨ Joy is possible when we reclaim the purpose behind what we do.
✨ When we reconnect our work to God, to love, and to our mission as Catholic families, everything changes.

This week, step back and ask yourself:

Why am I doing this?
Who am I doing this for?
How can I invite God back into this moment?

You were made for joy. Let’s find it again—together.
