This week’s Athlete of the Week is Aiden B! 🎉
Please help us congratulate Aiden on earning himself a Gatorade, some well-deserved bragging rights, and the title of Athlete of the Week!
During our wrestling unit, Aiden stepped way outside of his comfort zone and took on the challenge of learning something new. He never complained, gave maximum effort every single day, and brought a great attitude and mentality every time he stepped onto the mat.
Aiden picked up some new grappling knowledge and wrestling techniques along the way, but what impressed us most was his effort, attitude, and willingness to challenge himself.
Way to go, Aiden! You’re the champ! 🏆💪

A huge thank you to Tim Mauney and Russ Leesmann with PARIC for taking the time to visit our school this past Friday and share more about their careers and opportunities in the construction industry with our students! PARIC

They even brought along a drone, which made the presentation extra exciting and interactive. We love when our students can learn through hands-on experiences, and it was great to see how entertained and engaged they were throughout the presentation. Our students asked some great questions, too!

Thank you again, Tim and Russ, for spending time with us and giving our students a fun look into your careers! We truly appreciate you! 👏😊

🏆 This week’s Athlete of the Week goes to Charlie G! 🏆

Charlie consistently demonstrated the effort, discipline, and mental toughness that it takes to be a successful wrestler throughout this week’s PE wrestling unit. His enthusiasm for learning went above and beyond the classroom—he even asked other teachers if he could join the older students’ wrestling class for an extra challenge!
Charlie held his own against the older group during our Bag Wrestling competition and came incredibly close to winning it all, falling just one heavyweight opponent short of victory. His willingness to challenge himself and compete with confidence is exactly what the Athlete of the Week award is all about.
Please join us in congratulating Charlie G. on this well-deserved recognition. Keep up the great work, Charlie—we’re proud of you!
We are looking forward to another great week on the mat!
Congrats Charlie!

Our students have been fully invested in Mr. Mike’s wrestling unit in PE, and their enthusiasm, participation, and involvement have been amazing to see! 💪👏Mike Brazzle
