Meet the 2026 Zamorano Interns. 🌎🌱💦

Camila is supporting research activities focused on soil science in potato cultivation.

She assists with field data collection, the preparation of materials for ongoing field experiments, and the organization and gathering of research information.

Through this hands-on experience, she is developing strong practical skills in agricultural research while deepening her understanding of soil-plant interactions and field-based production systems.

Meet the 2026 Zamorano Interns🐄

Aileen is taking courses in the Animal Science Department while working at the university's dairy farm.

She is involved in daily activities across all areas of the dairy system, including lactating, heifer, and dry cow welfare, as well as managing feeding processes. In addition, she works in calf and newborn development.

Through this hands-on experience, she is strengthening her practical skills in animal care and management while continuing to grow her passion for livestock production.
