February is Black History Month.
Throughout the month, schools and families across the district are coming together to recognize Black history, culture, and contributions, and to celebrate our Black and African American students. All families are invited to a National African American Parent Involvement Day community-wide celebration and resource fair at Benjamin E. Mays School on Monday, February 9, at 5:30 p.m.
Individual schools may be hosting their own NAAPID events during the school day. Contact your school directly to learn about their specific celebrations.
