We are a non-profit organization connecting students with the opportunity to explore a wide variety of aviation careers through hands-on projects, tours, and flight experience at our residential week-long summer camp.

Application Checklist ✅

✅ One Essay

One essay (250 words minimum) outlining the applicant’s future goals in aviation, a description of their previous education and experience highlighting a significant learning experience or insight they gained, and a brief description of how being selected for the requested award would further the applicant’s goals in aviation.

✅ One letter of recommendation

This letter shall support the applicant’s application from a non-relative adult.

✅ Transcripts, report cards, or certificates of completion

These are only required if the applicant is applying for reimbursement.

✅ Applications are due on October 31st, 2026

The Elevate Award from Minnesota ACE Camp is back! 🎉

This is our 5th year in a row awarding scholarships for individuals in the aviation industry! 🎉

The Elevate Award is structured to help anyone that needs a little extra financial help to help achieve their career goals! ✈️

From college tuition, flight training costs, books, tools, electronic flight bag equipment, or even help with attending a conference or skills enhancement seminar, we have you covered! 💸

Any amount up to $10,000 can be requested. 👍

We ❤️ our Volunteers! ✈️

Giving up a week in the summer to volunteer anywhere is a tough ask.

Luckily our amazing volunteers for Minnesota ACE Camp step up to the challenges we throw at them!

Long days, hot days, little sleep, touring loud and dangerous areas, are just some of the hazardous parts of the unpaid job.

From filling ice in our coolers in the morning, setting up food for dinner, directing 32 high school aged students to get to their tours on time, or providing the mentorship and friendship after the tours is something we treasure in our volunteers.

They each bring their own set of skills and valuable experience to help encourage and guide our students during camp and beyond.

To our counselors, directors, pre and post teams, and the countless other volunteers that operate behind the scenes to make camp so special to our students, THANK YOU! 🙏

We can’t wait to do it again in 2027!

Today we celebrate the freedom to chase big dreams and reach new heights! 🚀

We hope all of you spend time with your friends and family on this special day, but also realize many aviation professionals are away from home working this busy travel period! So a big thank you to all you!🫡✈️

June B ✅

Our final camp of the year has officially came to an end tonight. 🛬

Two camps, in two weeks, 64 students, tours, flights, bus rides, games, it all goes so quick! ⏩

From learning about drone operations in agricultural applications, airline maintenance, dispatch, air traffic control, airport police and fire departments, flying gliders, planes and even helicopters, our students did it all! 👏

Thank you to the parents, friends, and mentors that helped guide and support these students to camp and beyond in their future aviation careers! 👩‍✈️🧑🏼‍✈️

Big thanks to our all of our partners, speakers, and donors that help make camp as successful as it is. We truly couldn’t do camp without you! ❤️

We also couldn’t pull off camp without our team of dedicated volunteers that have donated their precious time away from their own families and careers to help guide and mentor our students during the week! 🧑🏼‍✈️👷‍♀️👨‍🚀👨‍🏭👨‍🔧👩‍🏫

Even though camps are done for the year, we are still planning to make things even better for next year! 🎉

Meet the June B staff 👋

We have a fresh set of volunteers ready to start camp all over again! 🎉

From airline captains and first officers, a military helicopter pilot, flight students, and our own web designer, our staff for June B is ready to mentor and lead our next set of ACE Camp students this week! 👏

Our staff has given up precious time away from their families and jobs this summer to volunteer at camp to lead, help set up, clean up and provide food for our students! 👍

Meet the ‘June A’ Staff! 👩‍✈️👨‍🔧🛫

Our first 2026 camp begins this Sunday!

We have a dedicated group of volunteers that have graciously given up a valuable week of their summer to help mentor, lead, and educate our students during camp! 👏

From pilots, flight instructors, air traffic controllers, and military personnel, our staff can share their personal experiences to help our students in their aviation journey ahead! ✈️

With a combined volunteer time of over 45 years experience doing ACE camps, our staff is ready for another exciting year! 🥳

We can’t wait to see you all on Sunday!
