Week 4 at Artlet26 brings back familiar art mediums, elevated through new techniques and fresh ways of thinking!

At Illustrated Mosaic & Marble Pots camp, students work with ceramic artist Laura Laura, learning how to layer, wedge, and throw two colors of clay to create beautiful marbled patterns in their pottery. They will then join Anna anna weimholt to explore illustration through clay and mosaic, designing and creating their own illustrative-style ceramic trays 🏺🌿

In Primeval Creation camp, students dive into the incredible history of ancient creatures and animals with Fauna Fauna, Taxonomically Speaking. Guided by her, they’ll design and make silicone molds to cast their own unique creatures. Week Three has been filled with imagination, storytelling, and sculptures coming to life. ✨

This week, our campers explored photography by learning to see the world through a different lens, capturing thoughtful compositions and experimenting with creative perspectives. In the sculpture studio, they transformed simple materials into three-dimensional works full of personality, problem-solving, and play.

Meanwhile, our young authors and illustrators have been dreaming up their very own books—writing stories, designing characters, illustrating every page, and carefully bringing their ideas together from cover to cover.

Every week reminds us that creativity looks different for every child, and it’s such a joy watching them discover new ways to express themselves while building confidence in the process.

Here’s a little glimpse into Week Three at Artlet. We can’t wait to see what next week will bring. 📚📷🗿✨

Every project tells a different story, and it’s been so fun watching each kid explore new ideas, solve creative challenges, and build confidence along the way.
