It’s Winterfest Spirit Week at SJMS!  Can you tell which sports character Teddy dressed as today?

4th grade students at Oakview South Elementary got a visit last week from Teddy and his handler, Mrs. Nevins! The students learned all about what Teddy does as a facility dog, his training and what he likes to do when he’s not working.

Teddy loves the snow and loved “helping” with the snowman’s arms.

Teddy attended the high school musical preview of The Little Mermaid this morning with the middle school staff and students. His review? 4 paws up! 🐾🐾

Teddy officially passed his test and is now a fully certified Facility Dog. Congratulations to Teddy and handlers Sarah and Ryan Nevins on their outstanding work!

8th grade students are learning about force and motion. Teddy is helping as students design their own penny launchers to collect and analyze data on how magnitude and mass affect the change of motion for the penny!
