Hello all!
Our class reunion weekend is approaching fast! The list of attendees who have sent their checks for the party keeps growing. As a reminder, the deadline for receiving payment is October 7th!

The weekend events are as follows:
Friday October 13th- Meet and greet at the Hilton Garden Inn-
Melville- 7-10pm. Cash bar. Hotel kitchen will
be open. No charge. All are welcome. After
hours music venue after for all party animals

Saturday October 14th- Homecoming Parade- 12pm
- Chiefs football game- 2pm
Chiefs Vs Hempstead

-Party- 7-11pm AmVets Post 88
Broadway, Massapequa
Buffer dinner, beer, wine & soda, cash
bar- $65pp

Sunday October 15th- Breakfast at the Nautilus Diner- 10am
Please send your $65 payment to my venmo account ( -LaSerra), or send checks can be made payable to "the order of Ronald LaSerra" and mailed to 835 Neconset Highway, Apt D-12, Neconset, N.Y. 11767. He will be accepting payments until October 7th. If there are any extenuating circumstances regarding payment, please reach out to me.

Hello Class of 71. We hope you are enjoying your summer. As time is drawing closer for our reunion and people will likely start vacations and family visits, we did not want reunion plans to fall through the cracks. Thanks to everyone who has expressed enthusiasm and to those who have committed. So far we have a nice turnout but still many "probablies", "likelies" and "hopefullies" hanging out there. If you happen to be one of these and are now in a position to commit, please let us know. We still need to finalize some weekend details but we will need to have a better ballpark number of attendees before we can do so. A response either way when you know your plans would be very helpful. Thanks.

An update on optional events:

In addition to a welcoming get together on Friday night (likely at the Hilton Garden Inn Melville) and breakfast at the Massapequa Diner on Sunday, Ron confirmed that Homecoming is that Saturday so Saturday may be a tour of the HS followed by a football game, subject to interest!

Hello MHS class of 1971
As you know we didn’t get to have our 50th Class reunion back in 2021, but since then there has been interest shown by many of our classmates to reschedule it now rather than wait until our 55th or 60th. Consequently a few of us have gotten together and planned a 2023 reunion. The focus has been on a reasonable price at a venue that will provide a great opportunity to talk and party.

Date: Saturday October 14, 2023
Where: Am Vets Hall
Broadway Massapequa
Time: 7pm -11pm
Cost: $65 per person, includes a hot buffet dinner and unlimited beer, wine and soda. There will also be a cash bar available for other drinks and music (start thinking about a playlist of your favorite songs from our MHS days!)

We have secured a reduced hotel rate at the Hilton Garden Inn- Melville for those of you coming from out of town. Please contact us or look at previous posts for reservation information.

Other Events:
- a meet and greet at the Hilton Garden Friday night- 7-10pm
- Saturday- tour of the high school, and homecoming football, game and events
- Sunday breakfast ay the Nautilus Diner

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have an interest in joining us and if you will need a hotel room so we can begin to finalize arrangements. Also, if you are in touch with any classmates whose contact information we may not have, please share this invitation with them and ask them to get in touch with us if they would like to be added to our distribution list. We are excited that this will be happening and hope to be seeing many of you in October!

Hello All,

For those of us who will be needing a hotel room for our reunion weekend, Ron was able to negotiate a special rate at the Hilton Garden Inn in Melville. Below are the instructions for booking a room. In addition to the reunion on Saturday night there will be get togethers Friday evening, Saturday during the day and Sunday morning for those interested so rooms are available Thursday - Sunday. We will share plans on the other events as time draws closer. In the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts! Also, please let us know if you plan on attending but have not had an opportunity to RSVP yet. Thanks. Have a wonderful week.
