A 9-year-old shouldn’t train like a 16-year-old.

That seems obvious, but in youth sports there’s often a rush to make young athletes do more advanced training because we assume advanced = better.

We see it differently.

For our Elementary athletes, we’re building the foundation—movement quality, coordination, balance and confidence.

At Junior High, athletes begin learning how to train. We introduce structured strength work, teach technique, and develop strength, speed, mobility and power.

By High School, we’re refining. These athletes may already be training with their school, team or other coaches, so our job is to complement that work.

We’re not trying to get a 9-year-old to high school training faster.

We’re making sure what they do at 9 prepares them for what they’ll eventually need at 13, 16 and beyond.

That’s long-term athletic development.
