10 daily habits for Emotional Wellness
Pray. Start right and talk to God, or meditate. Enjoy some moments of silence to connect and refocus.
Read. Scriptures or other uplifting material can help your mind focus and prioritize.
Give thanks. A grateful heart is a happier heart. Look for ways to be thankful in all things.
Serve. When we spend our thoughts and time making another’s burden lighter, ours is lightened as well.
Be positive. It lifts. The opposite is true for negativity. Focus on positivity.
Breathe. Oxygen is life. Practice breathing techniques, use them when necessary.
Exercise. Move your body, increase endorphins, and boost your mental and physical well-being.
Sleep. For optimal health, 8+ hours is a goal. Try your best. The benefits are worth it.
Drink water. Water is life. Our body needs it to function. Don’t forget to drink your 8+ cups every day.
Eat healthy. Food is fuel. Food is medicine. Read labels, eat fresh, eat wisely. It’s benefits are physical and emotional.
BONUS: Be present. Don’t get overwhelmed in all you have to do. Strive to be present in each moment, one step at a time.
