With the world’s population projected to grow by 2 billion people by 2050, sustaining agricultural production will be essential to feeding future generations. Hands-on experience growing and harvesting crops helps students understand agriculture’s importance and discover the many uses of a single crop.

Our agriculture students recently harvested okra from the school garden and used it to make okra water, exploring another innovative way to use their harvest!

Students also learned how to collect and save seeds for next year’s growing season, helping reduce costs while practicing resourcefulness and sustainable agriculture.

From planting to harvesting to planning for the next growing season, our Knights are developing real-world skills and discovering the many possibilities within agriculture!

Growing today. Sustaining tomorrow. Climbing to New Heights!

Tis the season for all things pumpkins! 🎃

Last week PreK 3 learned a new breathing strategy called “pumpkin breathing” ! The kids loved using a real pumpkin to help.

They then decided to have some fun while reviewing letter knowledge and went letter bowling!

Check out these student reactions! Our MSA East Knights were surprised to discover that some of their favorite books appeared on banned book lists!

Students took a deeper look by researching why certain books have been challenged or banned and developing arguments either supporting or opposing the bans.

This engaging activity encouraged students to think critically, examine different perspectives, conduct research, and support their opinions with evidence.

At MSA East, we encourage our students to ask questions, explore ideas, and engage in thoughtful conversations about the world around them!

Curiosity leads to learning, and critical thinking helps our Knights Climb to New Heights!
