There was something about the energy of this gorgeous girl the other day. She's normally sleepy and a bit mellow during our morning programs. And yet here she was all watchful energy. Alert and focused.

I truly dont know what it was about, but like most of our participants, I like to project my own narrative onto the actions of the horses. I imagined that day that Goldi was standing watch, inviting the rest of her herd (humans included) to rest and turned inward in reflection. It was a great comfort to me as I watched her.

These three women have said yes to multiple weeks at the ranch, open minded and engaging in our Horses Healing Hearts program. And they have blossomed in the most incredible ways. Confident in trying new things, embracing new perspectives, and using the skills we practiced, they are ready to finish and move forward with their journeys. We are sad that we only have one ration left with these incredible women, but so thrilled to be a stop on their path.

We had the sweetest pair of siblings who recently relocated from Ecuador to Central Florida in our Horse Sense for Teens program today. When asked for feedback they wrote notes that were generous with praise and even doodled this sweet picture. The day started a little rocky for a few of us and yet the experience we had with them really filled our hearts with joy!
