Mrs. Marriage’s Kindergarten class read a book about Grover, the friendly monster who was scared of the shadow at the end of the book. Students went outside and played with their shadows and learned how shadows are made. 😁💙

Yesterday, the Harmony Volleyball team made their way over to Harmony Community School to read to the kindergarten classes. We had 8 girls read books to 9 classes. These girls represented our school, their coaches and the community with intelligence, kindness, and poise. These young women did an amazing job and left the elementary school with lots of hugs and smiles on their faces. If you see any of these young ladies around campus, please ask them about the experience.
Great job Eliana Mukoie, Macarena Quezada, Alondra Petit, Daniella Granados, Georgia Werk, Mia Ferri, Darinette Soto, Melanie Gavalo.

This week we celebrated our wonderful instructional coaches; Mrs. Kowalski, Mrs. Osborne and Mrs. Golumbfskie. These three ladies help our teachers by supporting various instructional practices and intervention techniques. We love their dedication to our Shorthorns to ensure they are leading them to a successful educational career! Thank you for all you do. 💙🧡🐮

It’s also October, and we are wearing pink to promote Breast Cancer Awareness this month. Wear pink one day this month to show your support! 🩷💪🏼

Parents, please speak with your student about the importance of their words. There is a zero tolerance policy for any student threatening peers, staff or the school in Osceola County Schools.

It takes all of us working together to create safe schools. If you see something, please say something.

There are multiple ways our parents, students, staff, and community members can report safety concerns:

👮 You can talk to your school's SRO or a trusted adult on your campus
📲 You can also visit https://getfortifyfl.com/ to submit a tip

We take all threats to school safety seriously, and any student caught making a threat could face possible expulsion and legal consequences.
