Undergraduate students Olivia Maus and Becky Brandhorst turned a semester of hard work into a standout moment at the SCSU Research Colloquium, earning Honorable Mention (2nd place) for Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation. Their research on fall prevention in older adults reflects the kind of impact-driven work happening in our labs every day, and their dedication all semester truly paid off.

Husky PAW showed up loud and proud for the Earth Day Run, lining the early stretch of campus to bring the energy right from the start. As runners hit that brutal hill, our interns were there every step of the way, turning the toughest part of the course into a moment worth pushing through.

Turning headlines into real world learning πŸŽ“

At St. Cloud State University, students got a front row seat to the business of sport as economics professor Lynn MacDonald broke down the historic WNBA collective bargaining agreement in a way that was both engaging and eye opening.

From salary caps jumping from $1.5M to $7M to powerful conversations around labor markets, negotiations, and the gender pay gap, this moment brought the classroom to life.

Sport Management and Recreational Leadership students Reed Kornovich and Amelia Russ highlighted just how impactful it is to connect coursework to the real world, especially for those pursuing careers in coaching and athletic leadership.

Because learning hits different when you can see it happening in real time πŸ€πŸ“Š
