Turning headlines into real world learning π
At St. Cloud State University, students got a front row seat to the business of sport as economics professor Lynn MacDonald broke down the historic WNBA collective bargaining agreement in a way that was both engaging and eye opening.
From salary caps jumping from $1.5M to $7M to powerful conversations around labor markets, negotiations, and the gender pay gap, this moment brought the classroom to life.
Sport Management and Recreational Leadership students Reed Kornovich and Amelia Russ highlighted just how impactful it is to connect coursework to the real world, especially for those pursuing careers in coaching and athletic leadership.
Because learning hits different when you can see it happening in real time ππ
