And seeing it filled with our families and teachers—talking, laughing, connecting, and enjoying time together—made my heart so full. What a wonderful way to kick off our school year together!

Our SOELA community truly feels like a village. Families and teachers come together with one shared purpose: to love, support, and create the very best experiences for our children.

That is what makes Parent Night so meaningful. It gives us time to step outside of the busy school day, get to know one another on a more personal level, and strengthen the relationships that surround our children every day.

I’m so thankful for everyone who joined us for our Second Annual Parent Night and for the beautiful community we continue to build together. Our children are at the heart of it all, and we feel so lucky to be part of their village 🤍

Happy Father’s Day to all of our incredible dads! 💙 🏈 ⚽️ ⛳️ 🏀 🏆❤️

We had the best time celebrating you at our Father’s Day Stay & Play! From the games and laughter to the special moments shared with your children, it was a wonderful reminder of how important fathers and father figures are in the lives of our little learners.

It fills our hearts to be able to spend this time with you and your families. We are so thankful for the way you support our school community and, most importantly, for the way you show up for your child day after day. Your love, silliness, encouragement, and presence make a lasting impact.

A very special thank you to our incredible teaching, admin and volunteer parent team for all of the hard work that happens behind the scenes to bring events like this to life. 🌱💚

From thoughtfully planning each garden space, preparing materials,building our mud kitchens from scratch, giving our outdoor spaces a fresh paint coat, setting up invitations to explore, and engaging so deeply with our children’s interests — your love and dedication shine through in every detail. Thank you for helping us continuously re-envision our outdoor classrooms into spaces that grow alongside our children, inspire curiosity, and reflect the magic of childhood.

And an extra special thank you to Ms. Coral for working so hard with our pre-K class to bring their planting exhibit to life. Your vision, creativity, and dedication created such a meaningful and beautiful experience for the children and families and thank you for always bringing learning to life and honoring our children’s creativity and learning 🌼✨

Third Annual Planting Day in the books!!! 🪴🫶🦋And the turnout was absolutely fantastic!!!

For some of you, this was your very first Planting Day, and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we do. This event has truly become one of the most special traditions at SOELA- one that brings our community together and fills our hearts so much.

What makes this day so special is that it takes all of us coming together — families, teachers, and children — to create spaces where memories, curiosity, and growth can bloom. 🌼✨

Thank you to every family who joined us, donated materials, helped prep, planted alongside us, and celebrated this beautiful tradition together. We are so grateful for this amazing community and cannot wait to watch our gardens grow all summer long! ☀️🌿
