Just FYI:

Online bidding will CLOSE AT 11:59PM THIS SUNDAY NIGHT – APRIL 30TH!!

So make sure you have taken a few minutes to look through the Silent Auction items and place your bids soon!

Final bids can also be placed during the live Silent Auction Event on Tues. night, May 1st during the SJCCA Band Concert at SAHS. You can come that night & place bids starting at 5:00pm, up until the intermission of the Band Concert.

ALL BIDDING CLOSES AFTER INTERMISSION.

Auction items won can be picked up and paid for after the concert, or online bidders will be notified & can arrange payment and pick up within one week after the auction.

Today is the final day of the 3rd Annual AICE Auction. You don't want to miss out. Stop by between 1 & 5pm to check out the amazing donations from our community businesses and families and place your bids. If you scroll down, you will see pictures of just some of the items we have up for bids. There are over 100 items to bid on. All proceeds are going to AICE with a portion being donated to the St. Johns County Center for the Arts.

To place a bid you will need to give Jessica your name and phone number so that we can assign a bidder number to you. If you are the winning bidder on an item, you can pay with a credit card on Sunday by phone, or come to SAHS on Sunday at 5pm to pay by cash or check, and pick up your items at that time. If you can’t pick up your items on Sunday, you can still pay on Sunday with a credit card by phone and pick them up at the SAHS Guidance Office next week. Or you can stop by the school next week to pay by cash or check and pick up your items at that time. All items MUST BE PICKED UP by Friday April 22nd or they will be sold to the next highest bidder!!

The 3rd Annual AICE Silent Auction is FAST APPROACHING (April 15 – 17th, in conjunction with the Spring Musical – “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”)!!! This event will benefit the AICE Program students, AND the SJCCA students!! There are almost 400 students in the AICE Program – many of whom are also involved in the SJCCA program, and about 6 – 8 parents are handling this entire event…so:

1. If EVERY AICE STUDENT/FAMILY donated just one item – that would be a huge boost to the overall benefit this event provides for ALL of the AICE students. Please consider donating an item – doesn’t matter how large or small…gift certificates, sports equipment, art, jewelry, ANYTHING!! You can also go to the SignUp Genius we’ve set up to get more ideas!! Just click the Sign Up button above.

2. You could also donate something from YOUR business or have your student ask a local business for a donation! If students spend time asking for donations, they will earn community service hours for the time they spend doing it!!! If you purchase a gift certificate of some type, consider asking the business to match the amount you’re spending and double the value!

3. Auction posters are available for pick up in the Guidance Office to display around town!! Please send your student to pick up as many as you think you can post to help advertise the event EVERYWHERE!!

4. We need food donations for the final auction event – a reception with finger foods - while people are finalizing their Auction purchases. Things like:

a. finger sandwiches – Walmart makes a very affordable giant sub that can be cut into 1” pieces
b. shrimp cocktail
c. chicken fingers
d. deserts
e. appetizers
f. drinks
g. Paper products
ANYTHING is appreciated!! Please contact Eileen Whittaker at [email protected] and she will provide information about what is needed.

5. Student and parent volunteers to help during the auction hours. Sign-up sheets are in the Guidance Office for students – students earn community service hours for helping! Students must be in “business casual” dress, willing to help pass out fliers, set up the bidding tables, clean up, interact with auction attendees, answer questions.

6. If parents are interested in volunteering, please let me know when you’re available. We will be displaying auction items, setting up, etc. during the following days/times (and you’ll get a first look at all of the GREAT items we have to bid on!!):
a. Friday April 15th 4pm – 8:30pm
b. Saturday April 16th 5pm – 8:30pm
c. Sunday April 17th 12pm – 6pm

The time is getting close!! The 3rd Annual AICE Auction is only 4 weeks away. We've got some great items up for bid that were donated including Disney Tickets and an American Girl Doll. Make sure you come by April 15th, 16th and/or 17th to place your bids and while you're there, stay to see the SJCCA musical production of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". SJCCA always puts on great productions.

Don't forget to sign up to donate items for our Silent Auction. Just click the Sign Up link above to look through the list and sign up for those items you'd like to donate to the auction. THE ITEMS LISTED ARE SUGGESTED ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM to make up a theme basket. If you would like to donate something else that fits into one of the themes or to create your own theme basket, please feel free to do so. Cash donations that we can use to purchase the items for the baskets are also welcomed.
