Where are my Florida history loving explorers?! đ
In celebration of the very first anniversary of the reconstructed 1738 fort at Fort Mose Historic State Park, I bring you the Fort Mose HSP sticker! Now available on my website, Etsy store as well as through a donation through the Florida State Park Foundation!
Tucked away just 3 miles north of the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine, you will find an absolute treasure trove of history! Fort Mose Historic State Park was the very first African settlement site that offered freedom dating back to 1738; many decades before the Underground Railroad is thought to have been started. Florida was under Spanish rule at the time and it was Spainâs intent to undermine the British economy and increase Spainâs population and militia. In 1763, the residents of Fort Mose fled to Cuba, fearing their freedom with Florida now being under British rule.
Today, experience living history through live reenactments and even walk in historyâs footsteps in the 1738 replica fort that once stood at Fort Mose.

Florida, Florida, Florida!
There is absolutely no denying that there are endless adventures to be had from corner to corner of the Sunshine State. This illustration is my personal little love letter to somewhere very special that I spent so much of my life. Snorkeling in the Keys and Biscayne Bay; sailing through the dark blue Atlantic waters with my family; air boating on Okeechobee with friends; swimming with the manatees summer after summer in Homosassa; living in downtown Orlando and walking around Lake Eola; picking oranges during citrus season; always keeping an eye out for one of my favorite birds: the roseate spoonbill (or what I lovingly refer to as âRosieâsâ); and of course, ALL of my incredible memories in St. Augustine: going to college, meeting - getting engaged - and marrying my husband in the Oldest City! I love you Florida, from âCoast to Coastâ!Â
âFlorida: Coast to Coastâ now available as 11âx17â art print, postcard, and OF COURSE sticker! Available now on my website (www.jellypressco.com) and Etsy shop (JellyPressStore).
First 25 prints off the printer will be signed and numbered by yours truly đ

Itâs officially here! Over the summer, I collaborated with the Friends of Georgia State Parks to create a design that celebrates the beauty and diversity of the Georgia State Parks.
I had so much fun researching for this project and - oh my gosh - Iâve got so many places now to visit in Georgia! In this design, I really wanted to show the diversity of the state - from the beautiful waterfalls of north Georgia represented with Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge; the historic architecture of the Dahlonega Gold Museum State Historic Site; the flowing natural spring waters of Indian Springs State Park (Georigiaâs oldest state park!); and the real âWHO KNEW that was in Georgia?!â moment of Providence Canyon State Park (super interesting history there if you want some Georgia fun facts in your arsenal); awe in the beauty of southern Georgia with a paddle through the gorgeous cypress wetlands at George L. Smith State Park;Â and lastly get out on Georgiaâs coastal waters at Skidaway Island State Park.
And can you truly have a Georgia illustration without the iconic state symbols of the peach (state fruit), the brown thrasher (state bird) and Cherokee rose (state flower).
You can now purchase the Jelly Press x Friends of GA State Parks âGeorgia Wondersâ sticker EXCLUSIVELY on the Friends of Georgia State Parksâ website (friendsofgastateparks.square.site/). Available in 3â and 5â stickers.

The Appalachian Trail, The A.T. or just âThe Trailâ - whatever you call it, is one incredible trail that crosses 14 states and covers over 2, 190 miles across one of earthâs oldest mountain ranges - The Appalachians. 750 - 1000 brave thru-hikers complete the entire trail every year - most starting in Georgia in the early spring and taking 6 months to trek northbound to the trailâs northern terminus at Mount Katahdinâs summit.Â
This illustration pays homage to the epic journey. Hikers enter the trail through the stone arch at the visitor center at Amicalola Georgia State Park in early spring, with hikers facing the potential for a good early spring snow storm and incredibly chilly hiking conditions. From there, hikers experience all four seasons and every kind of potential weather condition known to man throughout their journey. Wildlife is abundant on the trail from white tailed deer, the trailâs iconic pileated woodpecker - and of course an exciting but oh-so nerve-racking potential of encountering a fuzzy bear on the trail.Â
There are so many iconic sites along the trail including the magical splendor of running into wild ponies at Grayson Highlands; keeping your fingers crossed as you pass under âthe Guillotineâ; taking a real breather to sit in awe at McKafee K**b; dare to stand atop Dragonâs Tooth; take a real rest break at Priest Shelter; take a detour to check out the first monument commemorating our first U.S. President in Maryland; and enjoy of the beauty of Fitzgerald Falls. As the trail and this incredible journey comes to an end, hitch a ride on the Kennebec Ferry and head towards the last incredibly rocky climb as you reach the northern terminus at the summit of Mount Katahdin. And then...you did it. And you are simply amazing. You just completed one incredible journey!
Will you be brave enough to follow the white blaze?

As I sit here in the pool for some mama âme timeâ, I felt itâs time to tear down some walls. I have taken a serious hiatus from posting bc life got pretty difficult & I needed space so I could evolve with life changes & not worry about engagement or potential public scrutiny that social media happily hands out.
I donât know about you, but since COVID, life has felt so discombobulated. But then 2022 was a doozy. The day before hurricane Ian hit, I was laying in the hospital undergoing a DNC from a miscarriage & being told that the hospital would be going on lockdown at 5pm. I was eager to get home to recover in my safe place. As we all know, hurricane Ian was a monster that changed so many lives. From what I thought was going to be a week of recovery, quickly became months of chaos.
We spent the next few months working on our home & traveling, knowing the stress of what life just handed us would surely keep us from getting pregnant again anytime soon. We were right! Fast forward to my birthday of 2024 & my impulsive travel bug bit me & we booked a trip to one of our favorite places, Edinburgh, Scotland. On the LONG haul flight back to the US, as the flight attendants prepared the in-flight meal, I immediately felt the queasies. After a few trips to the bathroom, I knew I was pregnant. 9 months later, we welcomed the healthiest baby girl, Edie - a forever tribute to our unforgettable trip to Edinburgh.
Not that life hadnât dealt us enough changes, but we decided it was time for a change of scenery & a desire to be closer to my family. Since Iâm being so transparent, announcing a move like this was not on my game plan since my business has always been so connected to Florida. But as life has changed, so has my business. I always wanted Jelly Press to be a ânational businessâ - sharing my love of travel & encouraging people to explore what surrounds them. Jelly Press has grown to have product in FL, TN, TX, NC, SC, OK, LA, GA, & AZ. I couldnât be more proud of that & it is something I want to share & celebrate. Above all, I REALLY look forward to sharing new adventures with my little family as we experience our next life chapter in Asheville, North Carolina.

Jelly Press is growing! And nothing grows stronger without an amazing team - Iâll just get straight to the point: I am searching for a studio assistant to bring the Jelly Press team to a total of 3 fabulous people!
The studio assistant will be helping myself and the studio manager in fulfilling direct to consumer and wholesale orders, inventory management and helping to maintain a creative studio space. This is a part time, on location position that would require 10-15 hours per week. The Jelly Press studio is located in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Please e-mail your resume to me at [email protected] (As a new mama, I unfortunately do not check social media very much so if you send me something through DM, I probably will not see it.)
P.S. I promise I am surviving motherhood and entrepreneurship! I honestly just miss when Instagram was just simpler and not just a bunch of paid promotions and having to keep up with the daily changing algorithm seriously just made it simply not fun for me anymore! Is it just me or has anyone else been thinking about the good ole days when Instagram used to be FUN? What socials are we using these days?
